What can Fiji’s #MOWIP journey teach other security institutions? @GSS Lab Senior Researcher DeAnne Roark shares lessons from supporting Fiji’s military and police assessments and why understanding the “how” matters as much as the data. #InvestInPeace #ElsieFund

[ElsieFund @ElsieFund]

🇺🇾56% of women deployed to @UNPeacekeeping by @EjercitoUy in 2025 previously attended awareness sessions on peacekeeping opportunities.

Informing personnel, families + leaders is part of broader efforts to address barriers to women in peacekeeping 💪 #InvestInPeace @MPTFOffice

UN published new report on women’s participation in peacekeeping. Progress is real, but incomplete and fragile. The lesson is clear: gains will not sustain themselves. Meaningful participation requires continued commitment. #WPS #ElsieInitiative #InclusivePeacekeeping

[UN Peacekeeping @UNPeacekeeping]

To #InvestInPeace is to invest in women.

Only 10.2 per cent of @UN uniformed peacekeeping personnel are women and fewer than 1 in 10 senior officers are women.

We must continue to implement the #WomenPeaceSecurity agenda across missions.
