@day6ah there is no subjective difference between taking an f that doesn’t care, say gravity personally (“why can’t i fly :(”) and taking someone’s specific actions individual personally (“why did they do that :(”)

this can be by the f not making an exception for A, or by the exception f makes for A (your first and second defs respectively)
the key part is the hurt/feeling offended by f(A), which is identical in both cases
