@HighRoadSTV@WeAreSTV@STVFootageSales Well ... not exactly; she played a con-artist POSING as a posh woman from Kilmacolm! 😁
Morag was always one of the most relatable characters on TTHR, and Jeannie played her beautifully.
@DekeLord@HighRoadSTV@STVNews@STVFootageSales Sad news indeed. Taken too young.
Particularly poignant for us, as we've been revisiting TTHR on STVPlayer and are at a point where you and Gillian share a lot of screen time - both Lynne and 'the Old Crone' defending Davie to the hilt following his split with Sam>
Well, well, well - somebody can't take a bit of constructive criticism!
This is not a good look for a publically owned service provider, #LothianBuses 👇
Is it time to ban religion?
The lessons of ‘peace and understanding’ taught by the big ones seems to be failing, in an horrific way.
Why should something that’s supposed to create harmony, cause so much damage? So much bloodshed? So many wars?
They can’t all be right.
@on_lothianbuses@staceywalker124 As above - your public response fails to address the fact that there are legitimate reasons why this may have happened, which lets the casual observer form the view that the driver is automatically in the wrong. If this is how they're treated, no wonder you've had shortages.
@Pam60202731@on_lothianbuses Bus pass is gone. When / if it emerges from the coin vault it's likely to be in several pieces. You need to contact the provider to get a replacement. This should have been explained at the time.
@on_lothianbuses@staceywalker124 Please also explain to the OP that not all buses are configured to accommodate 2 x wheelchairs instead of leaving it to the general public to do so.
@staceywalker124@on_lothianbuses 2) > The earlier type (17 plates) are the usual buses on this route, and if it was one of these, then the driver is guilty only of complying with both Company Policy and The Law.
Disappointing that it's left to a member of the public to explain this instead of LB twitter person.
@staceywalker124@on_lothianbuses 1) Depends on the type of bus involved - latest deliveries (21/71 plate) have 2 spaces that are suitable for wheelchairs, having proper safety barriers mounted; other earlier buses are to the older configuration where the 2nd space is not suitable to safely position a wheelchair>
@edinhelp@scottish_water#CockburnWaterAndDrainage
By my reckoning, 24th July + 4 weeks takes us to 21st August.
It's now 10th October, so can anyone shed any light as to when these works at #Balerno, which are impeding access to a bus terminus, will ACTUALLY finish?
@emmaroo74@on_lothianbuses Because if they just 'let the 2 buses run,' the late one would never get a chance to recover its time and there would be an ongoing gap in the service.
@jashamilton2@on_lothianbuses There's a bit of a clue right there, above the windscreen. Also repeated on the side adjacent to the door, and the rear between the decks.
