@animathias This was the last original Gameboy game I remember buying. I wasn't really a Bomberman fan but I was craving something new to play for Gameboy and I guess the whole Indiana Jones theme seemed kinda neat. The very last GB game I got was Pokemon Blue. Don't remember how I got it.
@animathias Not everyone likes this game but there's no denying this had the best music of the three games. Four if you count Tournament Fighters but that was its own thing.
@animaclassic Most people hate these Doc Robot stages and see them as filler but to me it's what makes Mega Man 3 unique. The devs overlooked the fact you can get stuck in them though LOL.
@retrofreshc Very common to find cracked solder joints on the power port. Same with PS2 slims. Just needs a reflow. That board needs a good cleaning though. Might as well replace the caps as well. They are going bad and cause video/audio issues.
@DeeGeeGames2009 As someone who had to be around these people for 10 years, that's exactly what they sound like. That and the "Well ackchyuallys". Anyone who backseats gets booted the fuck out of the car.
@animathias Seriously, the new tracks added to this game are fantastic! Kremlantis and Kong Krazy are amongst my favorites. I also think DKL 1 is the best of the three. While based off of DKC, it also does it's own thing and feels like a pseudo sequel. DKL 2 and 3 felt more like ports.
@XRPee1983 This was a frequent rental for me. It wasn't Contra good, but it knows that and isn't trying to be. Definitely feels more inspired by Turrican.
@istartedthebits@NES_Professor Yes, but the downside of Comb filters is that they tend to display dot crawl. Most tv's at the time used Notch filters and I think NES just looks better with them, despite some rainbow artifacts.
@NES_Professor I've always wondered if RF was the intended way to play NES games developed by Japanese companies. The Famicom could only output RF so that is probably what the used as the reference. Thankfully for them, most Americans played NES using RF on "hand me down" tv's. LOL
@NES_Professor Depends on the tv XD. Also, Notch filter > Comb filter all day long. It really makes a difference and is how you remember NES looking.
