@AmmarKazmi Why does anyone need a personal allowance if people who are earning minimum wage will pay little to no taxes and still be entitled to income support benefits? but people earning above £50k are slammed with 40% on earnings above the £50k threshold

@linmeitalks You should be taxed on any amount you earn at least 10% for earnings less than £20k, to make you feel like you're contributing to the economy, and also tax people on benefits, as it's done in most EU countries.

@Brucey393 @PolitlcsUK I get you Shaun, but they should be able to contribute to taxes, and they won't pay the same taxes as someone earning high. Someone earning £20k a year only pays taxes on £7k thereabouts which is equal to nothing as they can still claim benefits on top of that, so zero taxes.

@TommyCockles8 @PolitlcsUK The benefits are limited to just very little for high earners while low income earners pays little to zero tax and still enjoy more the same infrastructure as people paying high taxes. Everyone needs to contribute to taxes, even if it's little.
