I met with a group of teenagers yesterday. One of their teachers had suggested that I talk to them about career paths because they're all anxious about exams, university choices and future work.
Instead of talking to them, I listened, and the actual problem was very different.

Lougheed Mall (@TCOLougheed) has a contract with a specific pest control company, but won't contact them to remove a crow that has been inside the mall since Saturday. If they won't deal with a problem this obvious, I wonder how often they ignore other health and safety issues!

Lougheed mall has had a crow stuck in it for 4 days, they're blocking any help (@BC_SPCA, etc) Cause of a 'deal' with an exterminator. Since they don't wanna pay for help, they're just going to let it die

@TCOLougheed @BC_SPCA This is a bullshit reply. It's been 4 days, we called for assistance & were told they're unable to come out as you guys have a contract with an exterminator that takes priority. I also talked to people in the mall & they said this has happened before & the bird was left to die.
