@FocusOnLeeds Meh, maybe this gives us more leverage to negotiate a better Rapha fee while freeing up budget to progress with other signings. We don't know how much is upfront either. City can probably lump it bringing the price down. He was hardly fit this year and wasn't at his best.

@JoshAHobbs I look at villa, who have spent roughly double what Leeds have and are only a few places/points higher. The PL is brutal. It is an utter waste of momentum. On reflection you find £30mil+ for a midfielder who Marcelo would approve it......Bring on the rebuild.

@JoshAHobbs Playing devils advocate; Maybe that's the reason? They are worried about committing that budget to a player who needs work adapting (again). DJ is ready now. When Rod's was signed there were questions around Bamford in the premier League. We had tried JKA and EN as options.
