Four years ago, Yankuba Minteh was playing in the top tier of Gambian football, living with his parents and sharing a room with his seven siblings
Fast-forward to today. Heβs competing in the Premier League with @OfficialBHAFC
This is the story of Yankuba's dream and the loved ones who supported him every step of the journey.
I hope someday, it becomes a general knowledge among Muslims that joining the kuffs military army especially ones that fight Muslims is betrayal, and prohibited.
Wollof is simply the Lingua Franca of the Senegambia region, itβs the most common language used in trade in The Gambia.
Wave serves as a medium of exchange for businesses and services choosing wollof over other languages is not tribalism but an act on default.
Iβm a Mandinka and Iβm fluent in Wolof meaning I stand the chance for the job! HELLO? Vice versa to all tribes.
You must agree with me Wave has been convenient, so far it has made life easier for us on a daily basis from Cashpower purchase to transactions.
For we are all entitled to our opinions respectfully, tribalism doesnβt exist here! what we have is ethinism.
Tribal sentiments only creates room for division and conflict we are one people from one tribe called THE GAMBIA.

@DijahJawo The size of the brain does not equate to intelligence, because with that logic, an elephant or alot of animals should be smarter than humans, but that's not the case. People and their pseudoscience π
Gambia has a big problem and it's not a government problem, it's a social problem! The government is just a symptom. We cannot complain our way out of this mess when we refuse to put in the individual work necessary to succeed as a nation
Western propaganda conditionally primes your brain to perceive others as savage, believing it is their duty to civilize them. Iran is one of the countries whose image has been distorted so much. Donβt judge a country through the lens of Western media; thereβs always an agenda.
I think itβs time for society to revisit an era when those calling for war had to lead their troops into battle themselves.
Maybe then people would grasp the gravity of war.
Itβs ironic how so many of these βarmchair warriorsβ hide behind anonymous or fake accounts on social media, spouting calls for death without the courage to show their true faces.
They talk about bombs, nukes, and drones as if theyβre just ordering a pizza through Uber Eats, completely disconnected from the reality of what theyβre advocating.
Welcome to the age of the courageous keyboard soldiers, where bravado reigns, but action is nowhere to be found.

TikTok is more than just entertainment β itβs shaping minds and values. In The Gambia, it's one of the most influential platforms, but are we truly aware of the impact it has on our youth's mental health, self-worth, and worldview? It's time to reflect and reset @DailyDosePlus@Gando__Bah
