Samsuri represents a technocrat that will add strength and depth of expertise to the Cabinet. The message you are putting forth is that you truly want a united government that is also competent. Pas will reciprocate your gesture

Dr Jeyakumar will represent the working class and people experiencing poverty. He will bring a tremendous boost to your credentials as a leader who cares about the poor

The myriad of problems and challenges you face daily require you to make difficult decisions. But there is no escaping the fact that the country can only move forward if we abandon narrow sectarian politics and opt to choose leaders who are clever, caring, and willing to sacrifice personal interest for the sake of the country

A columnist from Spore recently wrote about your predicament of maintaining political base support and, at the same time, undertaking structural reforms. You can do both. You already have more than 2/3. Just do it
