@onlyfanons Wouldn’t that also stop right wing n ballot measures? Seems like it’s just raising the threshold so there are fewer frivolous balllot props.
@decadimitry Maybe he is just prioritizing national issues in a congressional election over local issues. You can disagree but that doesn’t make him evil.
@uhshanti@bilalmahmood@saikatc@AOC Dean Preston is not some Christ figure who is the only path to salvation. Others can make a case that they’re better at delivering the same shared goals. Bilal did. Running against Dean doesn’t mean you don’t believe in the GND.
@terronk@PollTracker2024 Polymarket is just a reactionary needle following news mixed with tech types sentimental leanings. It doesn’t represent anything close to an accurate proxy of the CA electorate.
@KelseyTuoc@razibkhan@MattMahanSJ Winning a campaign is a far different skillset than governing. He needs to show some fire. Has he given you any indication that he has a skill set to *win* a statewide campaign? He has been all milquetoast so far.
@devahaz@SchizoLLC If the US developers actually built multi-unit housing that looked like those in Paris and Berlin, more homeowners would be culturally open to it. But we don’t do that we build ugly buildings with no courtyards so SFH owners don’t want them.
@hyphy_republic@AvidaBones You say he supported right wingers but no one has a consistent argument on this. SF left says Bilal is a right winger, but the actual SF right wing say he is a progressive and very left wing. So have to put that aside look at the rest of Saikat’s record. It’s strong, nationally.
@hyphy_republic@AvidaBones Your community is literally waiting on Connie Chan to *change her views* on this so they can feel better about supporting her. How’s that for consistency?
