Please take necessary action regarding this traffic violation observed at Ragadi on the Panikoili–Ghatagaon road. The riders were travelling without helmets, and one motorcycle appears to have no visible rear number plate. Unnecessary hazard lights were also being used while riding.

Subject: Need for Proactive Monitoring by Government Engineers

Many citizens regularly submit grievances regarding damaged roads, waterlogging, drainage issues, drinking water shortages, and other public infrastructure problems. Most of these issues fall under the responsibility of departments such as PWD , Rural Works, Water Resources, RWSS, and Urban Local Bodies.

Why should the public have to repeatedly report problems that government engineers and officials are expected to identify through regular field inspections? As public servants drawing salaries from taxpayers' money, they should proactively monitor infrastructure, detect defects at an early stage, and ensure timely maintenance instead of waiting for complaints.

Kindly issue directions to all engineering departments to conduct periodic inspections, fix accountability for negligence, and resolve public issues before they become major problems. This will improve governance, public safety, and citizens' confidence in the administration.

It is unacceptable that the Birupa Bridge at Charinangal, Jajpur, completed in 2018, is still not connected to the Pattamundai Canal Road. Your enquiry report admits that land acquisition and compensation are pending, but gives no explanation, no accountability, and no timeline. It also fails to address the alleged encroachment on the government road mentioned in the complaint.

The people of Charinangal have waited long enough. Complete the land acquisition, pay compensation, investigate the encroachment, and connect the bridge to the Pattamundai Canal Road without further delay.
