It was a great canvassing day yesterday in #Barrhaven East where we were joined (for a few doors) by our newest volunteer recruit, my new pup Marvin! Sadly his canvassing training went in one ear & out the other. He mostly just went around cuddling & trying to eat the flyers. 🤣

Exciting to see more EV chargers installed in #Barrhaven! This new one has been added to the Strandherd Crossing plaza so people that drive EV's can easily charge as they shop or dine. Glad to see more of our businesses seeing the value in having these available in our community!

@syd_meister @DominikJanelle @CaughtKathleen @WilsonLo24 @GuyBoone @A_HAWK_Q We should always look for ways to divert batteries & other hazardous waste away from landfills. I agree that it would be a great for retailers to offer a bring-back program while also investigating if these can eventually be disposed of at city battery disposal locations.
