@LawrenceWadey To the best of my knowledge Price & Goodman were signed before the full extent of the financial mess became known. We also released Foreman, Lenham & Karvelas although I appreciate their salaries would be lower than the new signings.
@Lizadorauk It is sad. It’s getting increasingly difficult for trainers who struggle to attract new owners despite being very capable. Hopefully, as he says, someone might offer him an assistant position or something similar.
@RacingTV@RalphBeckett@nickluck@WorldPool World Cup matches & Test Match cricket both potentially happen on a Friday so Ralph might need to check his wider sporting schedule
@SamWallaceTel As a West Ham fan I’ve only got good memories of Joe. Right from when the rumour mill started predicting how good this young lad was, Sir Alex becoming a big fan, his outrageous natural talent, how he adapted his game and his loyalty to the club.
@willis_macp I understand the the club has to pay some sort of penalty for the inexcusable financial mistakes made, such as a restriction on bringing in players from elsewhere, but surely being able to retain those from within the system on a competitive wage should be allowed?
@JacobSteinberg I’d love Bowen to stay and I think he wants to but he’s good enough to play for a top 6 Prem team so if he still has ambitions to play for England he should go with our blessing because he’s been magnificent for us
From three consecutive seasons in Europe, winning the Conference League, reaching the semi-final of the Europa League to being relegated to the Championship three years later.
An absolute disgrace how far West Ham have regressed. The fans deserve so much more.
