@elonmusk
Dear Elon,
In these critical days, the people of Iran need internet access. Please help them stay connected as they struggle to reclaim their country from the rule of the mullahs. Stand with the Iranian people. Iran will not forget its friends.
Having talked with multiple people in Iran over the past 48 hours, it's clear the death toll is far higher than we know. The toll will be measured in the thousands, not hundreds.
The Afghan Fatemiyoun, Iraqi Hashd al-Shaabi, and Lebanese Hezbollah are currently in Iran, assisting the IRGC in the slaughter of Iranian citizens.
Iranians are fighting this evil octopus of radical Islamist terrorism with their bare hands on behalf of the rest of the world. They need help, and they need it now.
It’s now being reported that the number of civilians slaughtered is between 12,000 and 20,000! These are innocent people wanting to be free! The time to act is now!
Reports indicate that armed security forces attacked Sina Hospital in Tehran, abducting injured protesters, including some as they were wheeled out of surgery.
This is likely happening in most hospitals across #Iran.
#DigitalBlackoutIran
At least 12,000 Iranians fighting for freedom have been murdered by the regime. Possibly thousands more. The silence from those who claim to care about human rights is truly deafening.
Regime forces are now raiding homes & confiscating satellite & Starlink equipment, deepening a deliberate #DigitalBlackoutIran to hide mass killings. Inaction will only embolden this terrorist regime to export these crimes, in #Iran & abroad.
Act now. Tomorrow will be too late.
At least 12,000 people were killed in the largest killing in Iran’s contemporary history, carried out largely over two consecutive nights on January 8 and 9, Iran International’s editorial board concluded, based on a review of sources and medical data.
Iran is under a coordinated blackout aimed not only at security control but at concealing the truth, reflected in internet cuts, crippled communications, media shutdowns, and the intimidation of journalists and witnesses.
Publication was delayed until the evidence converged.
The assessment is based on a multi-stage review of information from a source close to the Supreme National Security Council; two sources in the presidential office; accounts from several sources within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Mashhad, Kermanshah and Isfahan; testimonies from eyewitnesses and families of those killed; field reports; data linked to medical centers; and information provided by doctors and nurses in multiple cities.

Summer 2024 brought stark #weather contrasts to Europe — but what does Summer 2025 have in store?
Strength of schedule matters. Not all schedules and conferences are created equal.
Six of our eight wins are against bowl eligible teams and have come against some of the top teams in the sec, including sec champion Georgia.

H2H is the ultimate tie breaker in almost all the conferences, there’s a reason for that. Alabama is also ahead of SC in both AP and the coaches Polls so the majority of football professionals also believe that H2H matters. The committee should respect that too. #RollTide
I argued Alabama over Texas last year despite Texas having the H2H. That game was in Week 2, Alabama had clearly grown over the course of the season and had just beaten the No. 1 team in the SECCG. Committee (and *many* others) said no, H2H matters too much. So now it doesn’t?
Here's a good look at the numbers/rankings for @AlabamaFTBL. Recognize there’s lots of chatter out there about 2 vs. 3 loss teams, however that is just one factor. When you look at the @CFBPlayoff Principles for its Selection Committee, the first bullet point on the list of considerations is strength of schedule. Not all schedules and conferences are created equal.
We’ve worked diligently to add more challenging non-conference home-and-homes, which is good for college football, not to mention the week-in and week-out of the SEC and it being the toughest in the country.
