@WorkTheSpace Today was better than the average race at Barcelona, but was still pretty crap tbh๐ The most interesting bits were when Antonelli caught/fought Russell but those moments didn't really last long sadly
@ChrisHewgill ๐the media are gonna be unbearable until the next race๐ญ the Lewis glazing is in full force, feels like the 2010s again๐คฆโโ๏ธ
@DisneyPlusHelp People pay ridiculous & disgraceful amounts of money to your godawful company. The least you could do is actually let us watch stuff. Endless buffering yet again, whats the point in subscribing to this uselessness?
@MattP1Gallagher If any other driver had a crash like that and blamed a brake issue I might believe them. But frankly from bottle-job-Chuck I just dont buy it๐
Why has @F1 extended the broadcast rights for @SkySportsF1 when they're this useless?! Crofty & Martin missing so many obvious things happening on track today, this has been some of the worst commentary I've heard! ##MonacoGP#MonacoGrandPrix#F1
@MattP1Gallagher Leclerc's never going to be champion in F1. He's so fast and definitely talented, but he makes so many unforced errors it's really getting beyond a joke at this rate๐คPlenty other drivers with his error-rate would have been dropped already
@puckdrop Am i the only one who just doesn't get the 500 hype? I tried it last year and it was just highspeed drafting interrupted by massive crashes. Slipstream overtakes get a bit repetitive after a while. Not to mention the unbearabe OVer the top american hype during the pre race lol
@the_zb_ Well stop watching it then. Seriously as Chandok said after the race if you didnt find that race enjoyable maybe go find another sport. This was really exciting & fun to watch & if your self-imposed "purist" standards ruin it for you then i think thats on you man๐คทโโ๏ธ
@TSGenX@NeverteIImeodd "The younger generations", please. I work in retail and young folk are perfectly respectful. The awful, rude, unpleasant people are those in their late 50s to mid 70s. Utterly entitled and completely impatient. Every generation has their arseholes.
Spring has hit, and this week saw us welcome 16 brand new reps with a spring in their step to the Glasgow office (see what we did there โบ๏ธ). Taught by our Training Officer @Craigmiller1986 they were a fantastic group and we are looking forward to watching their journeys!
@Formula2 Dunne's such a rapid driver and when he's racing with his head he's so exciting to watch....but god that was a really stupid move๐ค๐คทโโ๏ธ
@F1Politik@dunccampbell@MattP1Gallagher The onboards are hard to watch, but off-board its not really noticeable and the cars look more interesting thru the corners. Personally i think people decided these rules were the worst thing ever about 7 months ago and are just sticking with that call
@srrnatt@MattP1Gallagher Yeah the superclipping/downshifting isn't great and i agree with Tommy bellingham that its ruined the onboards quite a bit. I'm just saying that its race fucking one and the P1 guys (and seemingly everyone else) has decided that the sports over, after 1 qualy at an outlier track.
@danlescroopulus@dunccampbell@MattP1Gallagher That's exactly my point! You can find exciting moments in any (well, most) qualy & race sessions! I don't like the fact the cars slow down on the straights either but to argue, as everybody is online including Matt, that it's the ONLY thing, is just stupid. The sport will adapt.
@MCFC_Rog@MattP1Gallagher Its race 1 of a new rules set, give it a chance. Every1 expects banger after banger from f1 and for every season to be supremely close now & its just not realistic. The teams will develop super fast as always and as Ant Davidson said, different tracks may benefit different teams.
@dunccampbell@MattP1Gallagher Max's moment; Mercs race to get Kimi back out; Mercs fuckup with the fan; the impressive Audi performance; Lindblad's impressive performance and close call in the pits. Yeah i'm no russel/merc fan but fans have already decided the sports finished which is just a bit dramatic.
