The photographs clicked on the station take some time to received, verified and cleared because of the multiple space agencies involved. While I wait for them I wanted to share an astrophotography story.
I started into astrophotography upon returning to India after my first leg of training at GCTC, Russia. The pictures in sequence are of the same interstellar object M42 (M stands for Messier- Name of the catalogue that maintains all night sky objects) also known as the Orion Nebula.
Over time we got better that is evident from the last photo. All the pictures were clicked from the night sky of Bengaluru.
Slow or fast, if you keep moving progress is guaranteed.

April 26, 2025, a profound and heartfelt candlelight vigil brought together hundreds of Hindus, Jews, and Iranians in a powerful display of unity and compassion. Organized by several Hindu Canadian organizations, this gathering in Mel Lastman Square, Toronto, honored the innocent souls brutally massacred by Islamist terrorists on April 22. Despite the chilling winds and somber atmosphere, the air was filled with a shared sense of grief, resolve, and hope as hundreds of (500+) people from diverse backgrounds stood shoulder to shoulder, their candles flickering as symbols of remembrance and resistance against hatred.
With heavy hearts, the crowd offered prayers for the departed, their voices rising together in a chorus of condemnation against the religiously motivated killings that tore families apart. The vigil was more than a moment of mourning—it was a call to action, a reminder that humanity must stand united against such atrocities. After deeply moving prayers, the group embarked on a candlelit march, each step a testament to their collective strength and commitment to justice. The message was clear: we must speak out against violence, hold those responsible accountable, and work tirelessly to protect the values that bind us as human beings.
This vigil was a beacon of solidarity, but the work continues. We invite you to join us in this fight for humanity by taking action:
1. Engage, empower, and protect our shared humanity against forces that seek to divide and destroy.
2. Organize a candlelight vigil in your community or temple to honor the victims and raise awareness.
3. Urge local politicians to publicly condemn this horrific attack on Hindus and advocate for justice.
Let’s carry forward this spirit of resilience and unity, ensuring that love and compassion prevail over hatred. Together, we can make a difference.

Thank you to Stouffville student Saanvi Tonse for initiating a flag raising ceremony in honour of the #SaveSoil movement. Through Saanvi's efforts, I've learned so much about soil degradation and the importance of enabling regenerative agriculture. Our future is bright with young leaders, like her, at the helm.

No Guru’s Sikh can attack a Hindu temple. 9th Sikh Guru accepted martyrdom to protect Hinduism 10th Gurus established the Brotherhood of Khalsa with Hindus known as five beloveds (5 Payaras) Maharaja Ranjit Singh gave Ton Gold to Kashi Vishwanath Temple. @Akali_Dal_@SGPCAmritsar
It’s deeply alarming—who would have thought this would happen in Canada? @PeelPolice, who have been quick to praise their own efforts, are failing spectacularly to ensure the security of our temples. Who are these terror elements that the seemingly ineffective Peel Police can’t control and even afraid to name the, #KhalistaniTerror , STOP Khalistaani Terror.
Hindus are being prevented from visiting temples and practicing their basic religious rights. This is unacceptable. @patrickbrownont and @PeelPolice must be held accountable and answer for their lack of action.

Our Indian community is under attack. The @CBC@JustinTrudeau are together spreading vitriol against hard working Indian Canadians. We will not stand for it.

The Leisure Centre was hopping this morning with many families stopping by Earth Day booths to learn about soil, turtles, and the the importance of keeping plastics out of our waterways. It was great chatting with #Saanvi#stouffvillelions#girlguidesStouffville today.
Today on Earth Day, at @townofws's Leisure Centre, I learned more about saving soil, protecting turtles, keeping plastics out of our waterways & recycling. Thank you to @luv_saanvi, @stouffvillelions & @girlguidesofcanada. I enjoyed learning more!
We're so proud of our outgoing Rutgers HSC president @prasiddhaa_ for spearheading this study on anti-Hindu disinformation. The report also includes BoT member @parthparihar as co-author. Kuds to the whole team @ncri_io-- it's a must read! #HinduphobiaIsReal
