“The drones would come down and pick off civilians – children.”
A former NHS surgeon, Nizam Mamode, who spent a month working in Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, broke down while testifying about children in Gaza being shot by drones.
the 8-5 schedule is a nightmare for families, 5/7 days a week people are arriving home during the worst time of day for kids. everyone is exhausted, and then the adults can reconnect at 9 pm when they've had every last ounce of energy sapped out of them.

Everyone in England can now apply for a baby loss certificate, whether the loss was yesterday
or eighty years ago.
Ten years ago, I had a dream that the parents of every baby that was lost in pregnancy would be able to be given an official government-issued certificate, so we launched a campaign. Mariposa International (Saying Goodbye) was a lone voice until Baroness Floella Benjamin pledged to support us in our endeavour. Roll forward a few years to March 2018 when The Secretary of State for Health asked me and Samantha Collinge to co-chair and author the government’s pregnancy loss review, which included looking at the feasibility of introducing the certificate. All of that work has resulted in this significant day.
I know how much this means to so many
people as your babies are finally being
officially acknowledged.
