Malay = Melayu.

Desh = tanah.

Malaydesh = Tanah Melayu.

Jadi tak rasa terhina pun kena panggil Malaydesh sebab memang Malaysia = Tanah Melayu dulu. 😭

Mata Wang Ringgit Malaysia kekal Terbaik Asia dan Pelaburan serta Perdagangan Tertinggi dalam Sejarah Malaysia setakat pengumuman Belanjawan 2027

[Anwar Ibrahim @anwaribrahim]

=====

President Aung Hlaing and I met one-on-one this morning, continuing the dialogue we began in Bangkok early last year. We spoke openly about matters of shared concern to our two countries.

Our half-hour discussion focused on the plight of Myanmar refugees in Malaysia and the prospects for their voluntary, safe and dignified return, regardless of ethnicity.

I believe direct dialogue and negotiations with President Aung Hlaing and Myanmar’s leadership are essential to securing a lasting resolution. Approaches that have restricted dialogue have borne no fruit. Meanwhile, the refugee issue has continued to worsen over the decades, causing growing concern among Malaysians.

The trust and mutual respect underpinning these discussions must now translate into concrete progress towards an amicable solution.
