Solidarity and Action at the SADC People's Summit
Today, ZimRights National Chairperson Mr. Takesure Musiiwa delivered a message of solidarity and action at the SADC People's Summit in Harare.
He congratulated the brave SADC civil society organizations who have gathered.
As Mr. Musiiwa stated, "We have done it before as a people of SADC. We can still do it again."
The people of SADC are here to take stock of what our leaders are discussing and to ensure our voices are heard.
The message is clear - we demand that our leaders respect human rights and the people of SADC. They are leaders because of us, and we must be led in a just and equitable way.
This summit is an opportunity to raise the critical issues facing our region and put them directly before our leaders.
