@GroundhogRedman I support this

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@AvidCommentator Yep the bundle of rights you purchased is no longer available. The fine print sux.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@GeorgeRoush In space the creepage and clearance distances reduce hence best practice will be to use mil spec sealed connectors. The rest of the laptop doesn’t appear to be “ruggedised” hence looks like a BS solution to me.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@AvidCommentator Gen X salaries stagnated for 20 years whilst we entered peak spending (kids + mortgage) then as we approach retirement the stock market will enter the mother of all corrections jeopardising a lifetime of super contributions. Sound fair.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@JEChalmers I strongly suggest you don’t read the comments section. Some “constructive” feedback.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@PolitlcsUK But the number of billionaires has increased in that same period. The UK is the same as Aus, wealth extraction from the middle class, increase inequality then turn the great unwashed against each other.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@AvidCommentator No chance. Libs are a rabble. One Nation have already had too many missteps. I often don’t give first preference to either of the majors however I think we are some way off breaking the two party system, which needs to happen so they don’t continue governing for themselves.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@VinciLostSignal They also make a much bigger splash to when you throw them off the balcony into a hotel swimming pool. Modern screens just don’t have the same impact.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@NoContextBrits Good job. Deserves to have a statue erected in his honour and a knighthood.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@AvidCommentator I have two children. I would have happily had a third but it was a financial decision for me not to. One wage earner would have had to be out of the workforce for too long.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@TheKouk Adding the bit about wealth distribution in the same time period will change your fun fact to a nightmare on elm/main street

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@GreenTyler27 If you have 2mil in the bank and earn 100k interest, it gets taxed at your marginal tax rate which is not adjusted for inflation. Neither investment is doing much for the economy. If you are a startup or investing in someone else’s startup that should be treated differently

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@CasperOnChain TBH throw in a bit of Playstation and it sounds like a fairly productive summer to me.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@MarkoMatvikov 5 is too many 3 is too few. 4 is the number (or should be)

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@TMFScottP Back of the envelope calc. National wages bill AUD1.2 trillion. 3m people get 3k per annum increase = approx AUD9.5billion. Our GDP is approx AUD2trillion. 9.5B is a statistical fluctuation and not inflationary.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@ChrisEconomist Here’s a solution. The cops resell the confiscated product at $20 a pack. The profits then go back into the enforcement, confiscating a prosecution. It will tank the profit margin in illegal smokes and give the average punter access to cheap smokes.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@RaminNasibov @KimDotcom I hope they didn’t pay the consultants for this one. Anyway it didn’t last long

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@AvidCommentator @jason_king72 It’s crazy. To improve housing affordability prices need to come down relative to wages.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@TMFScottP I got asked by toll road operator Linkt to rate my trip on their toll road. Now that is peak stupidity.

[Heebee Geebes @Geebes88]

@DrInsensitive I had a vernier confiscated on a local flight over 10 years ago. Still dirty about TBH. What was I gonna do go full geek mode and hijack the plane via extreme measurements?
