His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri alongside the Governorship candidate of our great party, Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Galadima, and Adamawa central senatorial candidate, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, are currently on their way to Abuja for an important meeting.
We wish them a safe journey and a successful engagement as they continue to work towards the progress, unity, and development of our people and the state at large.
Everyone is crying about West Ham’s correctly disallowed goal, especially Manchester City fans.
So let’s have a look at the egregious decisions in the last couple of weeks that have kept them in a title race… a thread 🧵
When the season started, All teams were level on points with Arsenal.
Amorim then got sacked when man United were 13 points behind Arsenal.
When Carrick managed his first game at Man United, they were 15 points behind Arsenal.
Now, they are 12 points behind Arsenal
So, Amorim left when United were 13 points behind Arsenal, Michael Carrick has managed to reduce the points gap by 1 point.
So Man United fans saying if they had sacked Amorim earlier they would have won the EPL trophy is what I am trying to understand 🤔

If you’re a corporate lawyer or you engage in corporate litigation, you need to read the case of F.C.M.B. v. Abdul Gafaru & Co. Ltd. (2026) 6 NWLR (Pt. 2038) 179.
In this case, the Supreme Court held that although a registered company upon incorporation becomes a legal entity and acquires a separate and distinct personalty from its owners, such company cannot claim damages for injured feelings and emotional distress like a natural human being. The implication is that when seeking damages on behalf of a company, you restrict it to pecuniary or proprietary damages but not anything that has to do with feelings and emotions.
The court held as follows:
“Upon incorporation, a company becomes a separate and distinct legal entity, different from its shareholders, who are its owners and from its directors who are its managers. Such a company enjoys perpetual succession and continues to exist notwithstanding any changes in its shareholders or
management. As a legal person, it can own property, enter contracts and conduct business in its own name. The Directors of the company are its human
managers but they are distinct and separate from the personality of the company. The respondents who were the plaintiffs, being registered companies are not natural persons with body, mind, feelings or emotions. Therefore, they cannot suffer pain,
humiliations, trauma or emotional distress in the human sense. They, as companies can claim other pecuniary or proprietary damages but not anything that has to do with feelings and emotions. This is apt because they are artificial personalities without
flesh, blood and soul.”
The above position is logical considering the fact a company is an artificial entity without flesh, blood and soul. In fact, this remains the law until set aside.
Learned colleagues, just for academic purpose, if a company has been given rights of a natural human being and it subsequently acts through its officers and directors, why can’t the same company, “through its directors and officers” claim emotional damages? Kindly share your opinion on this.
Thank you.

"Delayed due to operational reasons."
Short phrase, zero explanation, and a gate full of frustrated passengers who have no idea what's actually happening behind the scenes.
Let me do a little enlightening about what's really going on.
So, when you hear "operational reasons," here's what it could actually mean:
- The aircraft arriving to take you out is coming from another city and hit unexpected weather.
- The crew that was supposed to fly you has hit their legal maximum duty hours and cannot legally operate your flight.
- The fuel calculation has changed because the destination weather shifted and we now need more reserves.
- A technical issue was flagged during the pre-departure check that needs to be resolved before anyone boards.
None of that fits into a PA announcement, so they just say "operational reasons" and hope you don't ask questions.
As an aviator, I've been in the room where those decisions are made. The calls, the recalculations, the coordination between dispatch, crew scheduling, maintenance, and the captain happening simultaneously while you're at the gate wondering why nobody is talking to you.
It's really not negligence, and it's not the airline being unnecessarily difficult, but it's a thousand moving parts being quietly managed so that when you finally board, everything is exactly right.
So, next time you hear "operational reasons," I know it can be frustrating, but don't just be frustrated, also be grateful someone cared enough to get it right.
Being Arab did not save Abu Jahl from the Hellfire, and being Persian did not prevent Salman al-Farsi from reaching honor. Nor did being a former slave prevent Bilal ibn Rabah from attaining a lofty status. Faith is not measured by lineage, but by sincerity and deeds
Dear Parents,
I want to share one parenting secret with you. The one you won’t find in your regular blogs. And trust me, regardless of your faith, you will find this tip beneficial.
I want to explain why some kids become completely stubborn the more you punish them. I am doing this because I got some messages yesterday from people who have kids in the diaspora and how their kids have become stone-hearted to their parents’ warnings. It is indeed painful.
Remember that I mentioned the monumental book of Imam Al-Ghazali, Ihya’ Ulum al-Din. We have more things to learn from it.
In this book, he talked about a fragile part of a child's mind called the “Veil of Shame.” Note: Every child has this because they are born upon Fitrah (purity of the soul).
When a child does something bad for the first time, they usually try to hide it. They are afraid of being caught because they still value their dignity in your eyes.
The scholars explained that if a parent exposes the child, screams, yells at them, and punishes every mistake, you are tearing down their veil of shame.
Once a child realizes you already see them as a bad person, the humiliation has happened. They stop caring. You have destroyed their internal brakes. When they have no dignity left to protect, they will start doing those bad things openly and boldly.
How do you notice this in your child?
You can tell this is happening in your child when they stop trying to hide their mistakes and start becoming brazen or "strong-headed" when caught. This is a sign that the veil is thinning.
To fix this, you need to use a concept called Taghaful. It translates to intentional ignorance or pretending you did not see a fault.
Our Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us this. He did this with a young companion called Usama bin Zaid. But I see that our parents, due to their high expectations, are often too impatient to look away.
If you catch your child doing a hidden wrong, sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pretend you did not see it. Do not confront them and strip them of their respect.
Instead, bring up the topic later in a general conversation. Tell a story about why that action is destructive, without looking at them or accusing them. Let their own conscience do the punishing. Let them repent and fix it in secret.
A parent who hunts down every small mistake will end up raising a child who has no shame left to lose.
Let me know if you want more of these scholarly parenting tips. I will be willing to share. My DM is full with different issues. I cannot answer everything, but I am sure with these tips, a lot of those issues will be solved by God’s grace.
Thank you for your attention.
Allah knows best.
