Google's AI summaries may be convenient, but have you ever wondered what happens to the websites that info is ripped from? Well, they don't get your visit, you don't see their website, and while you get what you want they tend to lose out in the process.

To this end it seems like, in the UK, online publishers can now choose not to appear in the AI Overviews of Google search results.

China's rush to become tech self-sufficient has reached an interesting point, especially considering how they've been part of the global AI race since the launch of DeepSeek.

Due to US export prices China is finding it hard to keep relying on Nvidia's chips, and as such has been developing a variety of their own alternatives - Alternatives that are not only cost efficient, but seemingly just as effective as Nvidia's own products.

It truly is fascinating seeing a market transformed by AI now taking leave of one of the biggest contributors of that transformation and continuing to thrive.
