Today marks exactly one MONTH since YouTube terminated my channel with 240K subscribers.
Two days later, my second channel with 190K subscribers was taken down too.
Years of work, hundreds of millions of views, and my entire livelihood gone.
A month later, I still haven’t been told what specific content supposedly broke the rules. My appeal was rejected, support couldn’t give me an explanation, and @TeamYouTube said they’d look into it.
Still nothing.
I genuinely don’t understand how a platform built by creators can treat us like this. I’m not even asking for much. I just want someone to actually look at my case and explain what I did wrong.
Is that really too much to ask?
You genuinely can’t make this up.
After a month of chasing support, @TeamYouTube finally got back to me saying their policy team had reviewed my case again.
And now apparently I violated the SPAM policy???
How do you review the same channel twice and somehow come back with two completely different reasons for terminating it?
Years of work, my entire livelihood gone, and they can’t even tell me what policy I supposedly broke.
I’m honestly speechless at this point.
@max52992576 Started making content on that channel about a year ago, but I’ve had that YouTube account for over 10 years, and they just removed it without warning..
It’s now been over 2 weeks since YouTube’s automated system removed my 240k subs channel without warning. A wholesome story channel, ironically terminated for “humans maliciously mistreating animals”.
As a result i lost my other 190k subs channel through circumvention, which was generating millions of views on a daily basis.
It’s hard to put into words how these last few weeks have been. Going from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
It leaves you with a sense of emptiness, and apathy.
I know a lot of other creators are in similar situations right now. All we can really do is keep sharing our experiences, spread awareness and keep pushing for these decisions to get proper human reviews. It’s not right to leave people’s livelihoods in the hands of a flawed automated system.
@NickBYT_ It’s great, until their automated system wrongfully terminates one of your channels. Then all your other channels come crashing down like a house of cards
