@TheWatchers_ I read a paper from a year or so ago about these ice quakes and how there's a slow slip/ETS that happens. I'd have to find that article again.

@EurekAlert @OregonState How about asking Utah golf courses to reduce their water intake?? Up to now, they're pushing back at any efforts to regulate and report their usage amounts. Reducing irrigation for livestock is striking at the heart of society's foundation. ... And golf courses do what??

I've always thought Cascadia subduction zone is different from other subduction regions. I just don't know enough to really say for sure.
