@wildnorfolk@IanGordon805 There was one about 25 years ago just outside Kelling. It was picked up dead the day after. Not sure of the date but very popular bird at the time.
This handsome beast has taken up residence in my garden over the last few days, at the expense of my usual Blackbirds which are chased off at every opportunity!
A visit to a local sewage outfall today (Northampton) gave at least 45 ChiffChaff, 3 putative Sibe ChiffChaff, Green Sands, Grey Wags, Kingfisher and WaterRail. And a showy Cettis.
