@CAupdates@NaturalEngland But the enforcement creates a stigma (often incorrectly quoted and misinformed) around the plant when there is absolutely no need.
@saunt_mick ‘Biblically distant’ a new phrase to me Mick. Heard of Biblical floods, downpours and infestations but never anything relating to distance. However very pleased you saw the bird. They are such a smart species too. How about Astronomically distant as an alternative phrase?
@sciencegirl Completely stupid action like this do nothing to endere the public to a cause … for Gods sake think these things through and do something uuseful for your cause - DO A GOOD JOB
@DorsetBirdClub@LeeEvansBirding Always a pleasure to see a project come togethe. In awe of record accumulations stepladders for future generations to rebuild our biodiversity.
@BLI_Jim Not sure which bit of the plumage you’re referring to Jim but my thoughts are this bird is not a first winter as it’s lacking covert bars. Could it possibly be a female given the restricted black on the fore-crown? Basing that on the plates and on p58 ‘shrikes’ Lefranc/Worfolk
@JamesWalsh60@naturetrektours Well if ypu do return James you might find this useful. Although 10 years old it may still hold an interest for you https://t.co/lt4ZVzb086 and the bird list
