Grateful to advance to the general election after more than 300,000 voters participated in our primary election. I salute my fellow candidates for the campaigns they ran.

Yesterday the @JewishJournal published my first op-ed ever. This was a responsibility I felt called to take, and I am grateful to my dear friend and co-author Laura Goldstein for encouraging me to see it through.

I submitted this weeks ago because I knew these issues mattered. Results may seem conclusive right now, but there are still so many ballots to be counted and with elections, you never really know.

I was so honored to be able to attend King Charles III’s address to a Joint Session of Congress. Simply put: The King nailed it.

His speech was a much-needed morale boost for Congress, as he glowingly praised our nation and highlighted the role Congress plays in our democratic republic.

The speech was a terrific combo of wit, humor, history and appreciation. I believe most members of Congress feel better after the speech than they did before. Though I will admit it was a bit odd that the unifying feeling had to come from the King of England… but so be it!
