@Fire_Foxx11 Hacky implementations like this to get around Roblox systems should not be trusted. This would be such an easy system to scam. Fake that the group got moderated and take all the money. Start a new group and say this time it will be okay. Start it over again.
@Fire_Foxx11 I’ve had some funds pending in a group for over a month. I’ve had some people not be cleared to receive funds for over a month.
So many people will NOT receive funds in two weeks or in general this system will screw up.
@faemik Just from my own (albeit limited) experience with items on Roblox, using gamepasses or clothing should be about the same experience. Especially because it’s quite easy to call upon “does user own this” for clothing just like you do for gamepasses.
@faemik It’s just that gamepasses can have their prices changed too. It’s just a timing thing & a matter of finding someone who’s doing it real fast like.
Idk. Sounds like a weird explanation but I don’t own a donation game so I don’t have hours upon hours of experience exploring it.
@faemik Hmm. Kinda strange on the endpoint thing. I’ve never ran into that problem especially considering it was used in The Classic event for the old school VIP door.
The price thing, I mean, I guess maybe. But you’d have to really get the timing just right to take advantage.
@AREGames_Tweets As someone with two games that are doing -okay- it is more worth my time to work on them then to try and get a new game off the ground with the restrictions.
Silly update that forces people into their pre-made boxes instead of being able to further branch out.
Don't let the recent Roblox updates discourage you, Roblox development is entering a golden age
9 years ago when I released my first games, it was a total grind just to get started. Now it’s 10x easier to get started.
The resources are way better, the stakes are higher, the rewards are bigger, and you can actually build and launch a full game in just a couple of weeks.
My biggest advice: Stop overthinking massive projects. Start with easy, fun game ideas that have simple gameplay loops. Throw them into Early Access, see how they perform, and then decide if it’s worth months of work (like I used to do).
What do you think? If you're interested in the types of games that I recommend you work on (+ I’m currently building), reply to the post w/ "frontpage" . #Roblox #RobloxDev #RobloxStudio #RobloxGames #RobloxCreator #GameDev
@Paul2448 I struggle badly with wanting to be vocal during stuff as I certainly have opinions but also not wanting to be “part of the drama” or have my words misconstrued by the “sides” to this stuff and make the situation worse.
@greenlegocats It’s not about games that have high spend. It’s games that have players who regularly spend. (So you just have to find a way to attract premium / plus players more than normal players - even if you’re not getting them to buy anything in your game)
@NickRebornTV I have premium because I enjoy YouTube music and the ability to go back and forth between my phone and pc and be ad free the whole time.
Not about morals. Just a good product I’ve enjoyed for years after enjoying a free trial.
@AudioscapeInc The difference between the two games is not resources - the Roblox sound library has plenty of enivronment sounds that can be used. Its knowledge of how to use them the right way to fill out the space.
@AudioscapeInc One thing that is confusing about your marketing tactic is you continue to do these “comparisons” suggesting your service will help bridge the gap. Your service is not hiring a sound engineer who puts it all together. You’re just building out a sound library and search function.
I don't know the significance of the angel on top of @ItsBristolBaby's trophy - but I think it'd be really cool if they changed the trophy to be a statue of @KyleBusch bowing with the checkered flag.
The double 3 race sweep & 23 overall wins there cements him as King.
