Reading Football Club ⚽🔵⚪🔵⚪

[George @George__1871]

Massive credit to @RCouhig and @joe_jacobson for getting the club back in the right direction. We’re in safe hands #readingfc

[George @George__1871]

Remember the days when #readingfc would send you a letter to thank you for renewing your season ticket with a discount for the megastore inside? I want those days back, the good old days 🔵⚪️

[George @George__1871]

This is a good appointment, he know what it means to be a part of this club and it’s values. Important to have good people in this rebuild #readingfc

I don’t want to say I told everyone but… #readingfc

If my thinking is correct- FFP and accounts etc runs up until June 30th. Makes perfect says for us to to our business after June 30th. Our fan base is having a meltdown over nothing #readingfc

[George @George__1871]

@richiec87 @CScott____ In the last set of accounts we spent nearly £400k on agent fees which was the second highest in the league. That’s a big number for loan players and free agents

[George @George__1871]

@Reading106 @CScott____ @richiec87 I’d assume it’s immediately as the agent has done their part of the deal to bring a player to a club and negotiate the deal. They won’t stand around waiting to be paid i don’t think

[George @George__1871]

@CScott____ @richiec87 The agent will still want paying even if the contract doesn’t start until July. As soon as the contracts signed the agent will be due their fee

[George @George__1871]

@richiec87 @CScott____ We have SCMP in league 1 which is the equivalent to FFP which will limit us in what we can spend on wages and fees etc

[George @George__1871]

@a_mbenguelover @BerkshireBorn74 @ReadingFC It’s a step in the right direction, on a free it’s minimal risk but could be a good addition especially in League 1

[George @George__1871]

@BerkshireBorn74 @ReadingFC I hope so, it could be an interesting couple of weeks 🤞

[George @George__1871]

@CScott____ Agents fee’s would still be effective surely? And if we were to be paying a fee for a player that would also make a difference

Reading Football Club is pleased to announce that Redwood Holdings Limited have completed their takeover of the football club.

We've been robbed. All the BoA equipment was stolen overnight.

We're going public 'cos it's specialist gear and we want to make it as hard as possible for the thieves to sell it.

We've no idea when normal service will be resumed 😥

[George @George__1871]

I don’t believe for one second that Dai has helped pay HMRC and Wages, that’s come from player sales. Why would he pay the bills out of his own pocket 🤷🏻‍♂️

[Reading FC @ReadingFC]

Reading Football Club can offer the following update regarding the sale process, the transfer window, and Mr Dai’s ongoing litigation case.

Went to watch @DorkingWDRS yesterday, a great club with good fans and a incredible manager. Marc White even took the time to stop and ask about the Reading ownership struggles. Top class all round ⚽️

11 games left of the toughest season in our history. Keep the dream alive 💙

“It was the right thing to do!” 👏🔵

“The EFL have to take a look… How was this guy allowed to take over in the first place?!”

Jeff Stelling backs the #ReadingFC protest on the pitch, amidst worrying ownership issues.
