On this day 25 years ago I started working for London Underground/ Transport for London. I’ve worked at over 120 stations, and have also driven trains. I normally write poems and quotes paying tribute to other people, but today I wanted to write a poem for myself.
Anybody who has ever lost a pet knows how heartbreaking it can be. If people say “it’s just a pet”, they really don’t understand.
