We welcome the agreement reached on the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The #UNGA has adopted the resolution on the status of #IDPs and refugees from Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region of🇬🇪 with a record 107 votes in favour.

My counterpart, the President of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini and I paid tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives attempting to flee Communist Czechoslovakia between 1945 and 1989, laying a wreath at the Gate of Freedom memorial.

Inaugurated in 2005 in Devin, the memorial stands as a lasting symbol of freedom and victory.
