35 years on from the Great Storm of 1987.
I was 5 years old and remember it vividly. A huge tree was downed in our garden and my brother and I happily played and dug in the hole where it’s roots once stood for years to come. We named it ‘the mud bank’.

Our human sister lost her favourite elephant 🐘 toy today @Marwellwildlife at about 1.15pm on the way out (between the penguins/admissions gate and car park). He has our address on the label. She is very sad. 😢 He looks like this. Please share in case someone found him. 😞
