Day 30 of Senator Mitch McConnell defying all odds at George Washington University Hospital, and proving that getting an elderly elected official to give up a Senate seat is somehow even harder than getting your elderly parents to hand over their car keys.
@TRHLofficial Isn’t that how we got Lisa Murkowski once upon a time. Look how that has turned out for the Republicans.
Handing the job to relative doesn’t seem wise.
It appears we need this history lesson again this week?
@HouseGOP -- As a matter of history, permanent DST is doomed to fail. Please do not be fooled by the travel industry lobbyists. Permanent Standard is the correct way to stop clock changes. #history#MAHA
@onepeloton I would tell myself to just do a 10 minute arms & light weights. That’s done, maybe a 10 minute core. You know I should do a 10 minute barre glutes. And dang I just did 30 minutes. 🤣 starting with a small amount of time sometimes leads to more without noticing.
@financedystop I help my child buy his home and give support when needed or if I just want to do it. I will not feel guilty about taking vacations in retirement. There will be more than enough for him when I’m gone.
I’ve always conducted myself as a professional with sacrosanct respect, but I have to get something off of my chest:
Right now, at this very moment, we don’t know the true status of Senator Mitch McConnell’s health (we wish him well)
& then we find out that Senator Lindsey Graham died from a “brief and sudden illness” after traveling to Ukraine & Turkey.
What the heck does that even mean?
A “brief and sudden illness” really turns my stomach
because if our Senate/gov’t cant be honest about the health of its colleagues,
then how can we even believe them about the deaths of its colleagues?
