I’m reminded that almost six decades ago, on June 10, 1964, a bipartisan coalition of Senators ended a 60-day filibuster to pass the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964, which finally extended civil, political, and legal rights to African Americans.
I’m disappointed @USEEOC voted today to rescind its civil rights guidance on theories of discrimination, rather than examining civil rights issues raised by COVID-19. We should focus in future on how to apply the ADA & other employment laws during the pandemic.
