Austin residents are killed or attacked by repeat offenders EVERYDAY, but the only time our leaders care is if it’s an ILLEGAL who gets hurt.

A look at the performative officials who have made Austin increasingly unsafe:

-Congressman Greg Casar: (former ATX city council member) voted to defund the police by $150 million and get rid of 180 police positions. He is now crying about an illegal who got shot, meanwhile he has nothing to say when Austin residents are hurt or killed by the very policies he passed.

-DA Jose Garza: Back in 2020 criminally charged 21 APD officers for using non-lethal munitions to disperse unruly BLM crowds who were shutting down the interstate.

Instead of prosecuting the rioters, the DA went after police who were trying to protect residents (big reason why we see lawless protesters taking over the streets with minimal pushback, police literally cannot do their job without fear of the DA prosecuting them).

-City councilman Mike Seigel: DSA-aligned council member, who gave CBS news false information immediately after the shooting of Wilber Perez, stating that he was shot “five times through the windshield”.

The information was out for hours, continuing to stoke rising tensions and was later quietly deleted when it was found out to be false.

This city is a mess and it’s disgusting that our elected leaders care more about illegals, over the Austin residents who are unsafe everyday.

She’s been personally saying this to every cop who has set up a barrier to ensure none of these protesters get run over by oncoming traffic while they protests in front of the TX state Capitol.

Meet Jeffrey. He’s dozing off at an Austin Public Library guitar at his side.

He’s been convicted about 20 times in Austin, mostly for misdemeanors.

One of those cases: he pushed a shopping cart into a vacant apartment and started a fire. He’s also been arrested for trespassing at the 7-Eleven at Burnet and Anderson.

@greggutfeld I live a couple miles from where Andrew was murdered. We are across county lines from Austin. We usually vote Red here but the locust swarm from Austin is taking over here. My SIL is a local cop in the area where Andrew died. I fear for him and all of us when the swarm arrives.

Before he was a congressman, Greg Casar sat on the Austin City Council, where he took $150 million out of Austin's police budget and deleted 150 officer positions. Then Austin set a homicide record, and the streets spiraled into disorder we're still living with today.

Today, Mayor @KirkPWatson and @APDChiefDavis handed Rep. Casar the city's podium over a shooting that didn't even happen in his district. He used it to tell Austin that ICE shoots and kills people "with impunity" and needs to leave town.
