Bought my first iPhone last month & bought my first big car a couple of years ago after building significant runway - "being objective about your aukaat" at the time of spending on big-items has been the single greatest "learnt from mom" trait which has made my financial life easier ; not sure if you can learn it later in life but it rarely fails people
Indians live in delusion. They find happiness in pointing out flaws in other peopleโs lifestyles. They use slurs like dehati, gawar, and chhapri as insults because they donโt want others to be compared to them or have a lifestyle similar to or better than theirs.
Theyโll call someone dehati for trying to improve & uplift themselves.
Theyโll call someone unemployed simply because the other person is earning โน20โ25k/month, and they think their corporate job (70k/m) is superior, assuming everyone else must be jobless.
Theyโll mock someone for whatโs on their plate, even when that person is just trying to survive. Theyโll call someone a carbmaxxer and abuse them because they canโt afford enough protein.
Theyโll call someone gawar because they donโt know English, as if English were the SI unit of intelligence.
Theyโll insult someone for living in a modest home because they think their tiny 2BHK pigeonhole apartment is superior.
Theyโll call someone dehati and say they have no fashion sense because they donโt follow Korean-style fashion or wear wide, loose pants and linen shirts.
In the end, everyone is living in the same shithole. The only difference is that some people cope by convincing themselves theyโre superior after finding flaws in others.
They create that delusion to feel better about themselves and believe they have a higher standard of living than everyone else while surviving in the very same shithole.
@lowkeyxmenace Thanks for the clarification.
I now realize that if an opposition fan whistles against CSK, some fans go as far as questioning his upbringing, even saying it directly to his mother
