The temporary £20 uplift in Universal Credit has protected large numbers of people from hunger. If we are to prevent food banks from being overwhelmed, it needs to be maintained beyond next March. Our letter with .@frankfieldteam in .@thetimes .@jrf_uk https://t.co/v9QTG1rmEG

Hello #Bristol 👋😊 we're new on Twitter! We're a group of residents who have got together to try and make where we live - Cromwell Road, BS6 - a lovelier place to be.
Thank you @Channel4News & @somerville_pri for raising awareness of the issues many UK families are facing at this time & how Magic Breakfast are helping #NoChildTooHungryToLearn

Our Citizens' Supermarket in Birkenhead is supporting hundreds of families whose budgets have been squeezed by the extra 'back to school' costs. One parent says, 'This is a very big help to me and my children. This means I can free up money for new PE kit and gas'.
A huge thank you to @magic_breakfast who delivered 700 (yes, you read that right!) packs of bagels and boxes of cereal for our children to take home this week. Our tummies are rumbling thinking about these delicious breakfasts!
Testing is now a complete fiasco. Matt Hancock must explain to everyone ill or worrying about a sick child who can’t access a test why it is that they can't get one. There must be a plan in place to fix this mess urgently.
