אני כאן כדי להזכיר שבעתיד הלא מאוד רחוק, דהיינו עוד 40-50 שנה ככה, יהיה לנו הרבה יותר קשה לתקוף באמצעות חיל אוויר מתקדם את האויב במרחק של 2,000 קילומטרים מאיתנו אם נמשיך במסלול הנוכחי.

יהיה קשה תקציבית להחזיק חיל כזה, ויהיה קשה למצוא את האנשים המתאימים לכך. נכון להיום כ-15% מהתלמידים בישראל לא לומדים לימודים שמכינים אותם לשוק העבודה - הבנים החרדים. והמצב אצל 15% נוספות, הבנות החרדיות, לא טוב בהרבה.

בתוך המגזר החרדי הגברים והנשים עובדים בערך 30% בחינוך, ועובדות באזור ה-40%. כלומר כשליש מכוח האדם החרדי, בגלל הילודה הרבה, צריך לעסוק בללמד את הדור הבא. כתבתי כבר שהלימוד הזה לא מכין לשוק העבודה? כתבתי, ואמשיך לכתוב את זה עד שהציבור יבין שתרמית ה��ירמידה הזו לא יכולה להחזיק לאורך זמן.

הציבור החרדי לא יכול גם לעבוד בהכנסה לנפש של מדינת עולם שלישי, גם ללמד את ילדיו בחינוך של עולם שלישי, וגם להתרבות בקצב של מדינת עולם שלישי, מבלי לגרור את המדינה יחד איתו לרמת החיים הזו. זה פשוט בלתי אפשרי, לא משנה כמה נעמיד פנים. חמור מכך, לתהליך הזה יש אפקט מצטבר, כי ככל שהמדינה תדרדר מבחינת רמת החיים שלה, אוכלוסיות חזקות תהגרנה מכאן והאפקט יתעצם (כמו בלבנון למשל).

רמת החיים של מדינת עולם שלישי אומרת תקבולי מיסים של מדינת עולם שלישי וכתוצאה מכך מגזר ציבורי של עולם שלישי. דהיינו, צבא פח אשפה, בריאות ורווחה וחינוך ברמה נמוכה ובאופן כללי זה אומר מדינה הרבה הרבה פחות מתפקדת, אפילו ביחס לחוסר התפקוד המחריד הנוכחי שלה. אנחנו לא יכולים להרשות לעצמנו את זה, עם כל האויבים הבאים עלינו לכלותינו, כי הקב"ה לא יצילנו מידם (להזכירכם הוא נרדם בשמירה לפני איזה 80 שנה). הישרדותינו היא בידינו ובידינו בלבד.

עכשיו לפני שאתם קופצים עם "זה כולה תחזיות מלא דברים ישתנו יא אידיוט", תבינו: חלק ניכר מהילדים האלו שלא לומדים את מה שיאפשר להם להיות אזרחים יצרנים *כבר נולדו*. הם *עכשיו* במערכת החינוך. אנחנו ברגעים אלו ממש יוצרים את עתיד המדינה 15 שנה קדימה באמצעות מערכת החינוך שלנו.

העתיד הזה עגום. הוא לא ישתנה אם לא נתעורר, ונבין שהדבר הכי דחוף לשינוי, עם ההשפעה הכי גדולה על עתיד המדינה ועם פוטנציאל הנזק הגבוה ביותר אם לא נשנה אותו, זו מערכת החינוך החרדית. בלי שינוי שלה, מדינת ישראל, ואיתה החזון הציוני, בסכנה של כיליון.

We are starting to hear details from the hostages, and they describe what amounts to torture. I am not going to detail everything we hear, just what was published by the families themselves. Here are some harrowing stories:

*A 9-year-old girl believed she was kidnapped for a year and still whispers due to threats from her Hamas kidnappers.
*3-year-old twins were released without their dad, after Hamas attempted to free them alone while their mother remained captive.
*A 12-year-old, kidnapped alone after his father was shot, was beaten by Gaza residents and forced at gunpoint by Hamas to watch videos of their murder spree and massacres.
*Remember the red-haired babies kidnapped with their mother? The Bibas family wasn't released. Hamas claims they can't reach them, and reports suggest they were traded within the Gaza strip to another faction.
*Two hostages were murdered in Gaza: Noa Marziano (killed in Shifa hospital by Hamas, with the complicity of medical staff), and Yehudit Vice, a cancer patient kidnapped and murdered by Hamas near Shifa hospital.
*The Israeli Health Ministry reports that elderly women kidnapped by Hamas lost between 8-15 kg on average, amounting to starvation.
There more details to come, some harrowing. These testimonies indicate war crimes and the torture of children and adults who, at times, lost their family to the mass murder committed by Hamas. Comparing the release of Palestinian prisoners, who enjoyed internationally lawful conditions including regular ICRC visits, to 3-year-old girls who witnessed their parents' murder and were held against their will, is either a case of severe misinformation or sheer malice.
The stories are just beginning to emerge.

UN officials say, “Yes, 1200 people were massacred by Hamas, but now thousands of Palestinians are killed.”

And you know, that argument was made before—in the Nuremberg trials, by the head of the Einsatzgruppen, the Nazi death squads that moved around Eastern Europe and killed a million Jews and a million others.

When they were brought to justice at Nuremberg, they said, “Yes, we may have done these killings but you, the allies, you killed civilians when you bombed Dresden and other cities.”

And that was wholly rejected by the Nuremberg court.

The notion that this Nazi defendant was trying to make—that the deliberate and purposeful killing of civilians was equal to the taking of civilian lives that is undesired, unintended and unavoidable—was absolutely rejected. Those are completely two different things.

And that is the essence of civilization: to distinguish between those two.

And sadly, at the United Nations, we are seeing this scandalous Dresden defense being brought up again and again, to equate the purposeful, deliberate killing of civilians, which is a crime, with the taking of civilian lives that is undesired, unintended, but unavoidable.

That should be rejected completely.
