USPS final rule on Ballot Mail for Federal Elections is now in effect after injunctions lifted.

Election officials must submit each mail voter’s name, address, state, and unique Intelligent Mail barcodes for outbound/return envelopes to the Federal Ballot Mail Portal. Envelopes must include the official Election Mail logo, unique barcodes, and pass USPS design review for automation.

Noncompliant outbound federal ballots will not be accepted for delivery. USPS does not check eligibility. Applies to federal general elections; new lawsuits continue.

🚨 Poul Thorsen, a researcher whose work was used to reassure millions of parents that vaccines do not cause autism, is expected to plead guilty to fraud on Sept. 1.

Thorsen worked on major studies examining vaccines and autism that were cited by the CDC and became part of the scientific foundation used to dismiss concerns about a possible connection.

He was later accused by federal prosecutors of stealing more than $1 million in CDC grant money intended for research, using fabricated documents and fraudulent invoices to divert the funds for his own use.

For years, we’ve been told not to question the science on vaccines and autism. We were told the evidence was overwhelming and the people conducting the research could be trusted.

When the integrity of the people producing that science comes into question, so should our willingness to accept their conclusions without scrutiny.

A civilian employee was found to have used the Flock cameras that have popped up all over the county to unlawfully track someone? I applaud our county for taking the steps to discontinue use of these cameras… but this is just the first step in what needs to be a state wide approach to protecting Missourians’ 4th amendment rights. It’s absolutely frightening to think that warrantless surveillance can occur on law abiding citizens with their information stored in a database that is keeping tabs on everything they do… especially when a civilian non law enforcement employee is monitoring folks without a court order, warrant, or permission from them.

I call on all municipalities and counties across the state to immediately stop using these cameras and infringing upon the rights of our people
