What links exist between the various projects? Are there connections via parent companies?

Which projects are genuinely innovative?

What financial resources support these initiatives?

4. Marketing and Perception:

Could marketing advantage lesser-value projects?

How will investors decide where to allocate their $TAO?

What is dTAO?

Soon™. Probably in about a month. It just went live on the test network yesterday (January 10). The official timeline is "Q1 2025" (i.e., January-March).

Do I need to withdraw my tokens or do anything before dTAO?

No, you don’t need to do anything. Regular staking is being renamed to root staking, and you don’t need to make any changes.

What happens to staking rewards if I don’t do anything with dTAO?

Root network staking rewards for $TAO, which are “zero-risk,” will gradually decrease over time as more emissions are allocated to dTAO tokens. I don’t have exact figures yet, but some charts will soon be available to help visualize this better.
[UPDATE] Please note that staking in the root network will only yield TAO tokens, not dTAO tokens. If you want dTAO tokens, you will need to exchange TAO for a specific dTAO token and stake that instead.

Can I lose my TAO if I exchange it for dTAO tokens?

It’s like exchanging ETH for another altcoin. Its value can increase or decrease. Just as other ETH altcoins are volatile trading pairs against ETH, dTAO tokens are volatile trading pairs against TAO.

Will there now be 2 tokens: TAO and dTAO?

No, there will be thousands! Each subnet gets its own dTAO token, similar to how various altcoins exist on Ethereum.

How can I buy dTAO? Can I do it from my wallet app?

dTAO is not live yet (currently testnet only). Initially, the process may be a bit complex, but new front-ends should arrive soon to simplify the process.

Once dTAO is live, will validators still vote for emissions?

No, and this is one of the best parts – emissions will now be market-driven based on the number of people buying and selling dTAO tokens.

What is the difference between CR3, EVM, and dTAO?

EVM adds smart contracts like Ethereum. dTAO replaces voting for emissions, with each subnet receiving its own dTAO token, similar to Ethereum having altcoins.

CR3 (Commit Reveal 3) is a weight anti-copying technology that was released last month. It’s completely unrelated but needed to be implemented before dTAO could launch.

在 sol 上玩 ai，拿了点钱去 bsc，玩 ip 类 meme 。

对bsc不懂，不敢玩小市值，选的强 ip 的 $andy ；
一些英文区玩 meme 的朋友给我推荐的这个标，当时20m；
我一直在玩 ai ，错过了这个标的的早期上涨，有点遗憾，昨天差不多50m-60m建仓的。

原因：

1️⃣强IP
andy这个 ip，是跟 pepe/brett/puple wolf 一起的4个形象，matt furie's boy club 漫画系列。
绿色的pepe在 eth，现在11b市值；
蓝色的brett在base，现在2b市值；
紫色的pruple wolf 在sol，现在240m市值；
黄色的andy目前60m+市值，我当时 pepe beta 配了。

2️⃣bn对bsc的重视
过去的两个月，bn已经上线了5个bsc的meme；
cz回归后，主要在关注bsc，bn内山寨找不到明显的机会，在bsc上配一点pepe的beta 吧。

3️⃣建仓时机
说实话，这个位置横盘，让我有点难受，希望有个大一点的回调，但是不想错过可能的上涨，先建了头仓；如果有30%以上的回调，准备上大一点仓��了。

另外一个我还在看的标是 wise monkey，也是ip类 meme，市值也差不多这个区间，还没决定是否建仓。
