🔎Looking for a Bitcoin job.🔎
As I wrap up my academic journey, I am ready for a new adventure.
I am eager to transition into a role within the Bitcoin space and more actively contribute to the advancement of Bitcoin.
Some background on me:
I am in the final stages of completing my PhD in economics and set to defend my dissertation at the end of April.
My doctoral research primarily focuses on Bitcoin and investor behaviour, exploring how they respond to shifts in sentiment and uncertainty. In addition to examining Bitcoin as an asset, I've delved into the impact of trade liberalization on employment in the manufacturing sector of developing countries, as highlighted in one of my research papers.
My expertise lies in intensive data analysis and the application of various econometric estimation methods to understand the relationships between different factors. For instance, I have investigated the relationship between media sentiment and the bitcoin holdings of investors based on their investment size. My research findings have been published in peer-reviewed academic journals.
Beyond academia, I have actively engaged in the Bitcoin community over the past few years, contributing articles and a newsletter focused on on-chain analysis, market developments, and macroeconomics. I am currently one of the Terahash representatives, a company focused on bitcoin mining research and education. Further, I am currently working on other projects with Bitcoin companies and research related to bitcoin mining and energy consumption. I have participated in various Bitcoin podcasts and acted as a panellist at Bitcoin conferences.
While my written work is primarily centred around markets, I'm equally intrigued by Bitcoin's transformative potential as a currency and the applications of bitcoin mining. Specifically, I'm interested in exploring how these aspects can positively impact marginalized communities and how bitcoin mining can contribute to the ongoing energy transformation of our economies.
Given my background, I possess the skills to swiftly analyze and deduce potential scenarios based on available information.
I aim to transition from academia to the business sphere within the realm of Bitcoin, seeking roles that align with my expertise and passion.
If you are aware of any opportunities or if you are looking for someone with my skill set, please reach out.
I would also greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word!

According to the latest evidence from #JacksonHole symposium, monetary policy has an impact on innovation and long-term economic outcomes (Ma & Zimmermann, 2023).
We addressed the same question in a recent paper with Elton Beqiraj, Qingqing Cao & Raoul Minetti:

Don't give up on the project yet. You think through and try to come up with an explanation. Or refine your idea. If it's sig. is the result robust? Discuss it with your advisor / other students. Apply what you learn in classes to the project you are working on. (2/3)
@MalachyOdo1 This is deeply troubling.
A tragedy beyond tragedy.
The police system should serve all citizens fairly, not be used as a tool for personal vendettas.
I'm glad you're taking this up.
* Why raising interest rates lowers inflation, and usually (but may not) raises unemployment 🧵
When the CB raises nominal interest rates, agents want to save more in nominal vehicles as opposed to real ones. The relative value of nominal vs real must rise. Inflation must fall.
@JohnHCochrane Amazing to see how much childhood has evolved over the decades. There's a certain charm to the freedom of the past.
I wonder about the balance between safety and letting my kids explore on their own.
