@TheBlueGem3 Better question is how long after these new ID’s are issued does the UCP implement their personal police force, and start asking to see “ID” and detaining whatever they consider a non-citizen?
Jack is making a pretty serious claim here.
He is basically saying manufacturers are pressuring players and media voices to oppose the rollback. But if that were really how this worked, how do we explain Titleist sponsoring No Laying Up?
NLU is one of the biggest golf media brands in the world, and they are VERY vocal about being pro rollback. Given their reach, I assume that sponsorship is not exactly small from a dollars perspective.
So if someone like Titleist were trying to buy or control the narrative, sponsoring NLU would be a very strange way to do it.
Same thing with the USGA advertising with The Fried Egg. Does that automatically mean The Fried Egg is pro rollback because the USGA pays them?
Of course not. That is not how this works.
Jack's ridiculous opinion he dreamed up simply fits the story he wants to tell.
And the idea that there are only 20, 25, maybe 30 championship caliber courses in the country is just incredibly absurd. It's beyond laughable.

SECRETARY RUBIO: I think the Iranians are serious about getting themselves out of the mess that they’re in.
All the problems they had before the start of this conflict are still there or worse but now they have half the missiles, none of the factories, and no navy.

Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.
In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.

We are grateful that the NCAA accommodates BYU policy not to compete on Sunday.
They gave us the opportunity to play our Sunday round on Thursday. We will join the other teams for the official round 1 tomorrow.
Lamar Jackson holds the cards in his contract talks with the Ravens. After the 2027 season, he's guaranteed to hit the open market -- and he'd be one of the highest-profile unrestricted free agents the NFL has ever seen. https://t.co/P8fYflOwjc
The NFL informed teams recently that this year’s cutdown deadline to 53 players will be 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 30 — not the following Tuesday, as it has been in recent years, sources say.
Waiver claims will be due at 1 p.m. ET on Monday, Aug. 31. The season kicks off Sept. 9.
Families in Lebanon’s Tyre returned to scenes of devastation after Israeli airstrikes reduced their homes to rubble only hours after evacuation orders were issued. Yet despite the destruction and fear, many residents refuse to abandon their city, vowing to remain beside the ruins of the homes they once built.
