@jewishhistoryst Great/2x great are the most recent immigrants in my family, so here are those: Kamianets Podilskyi, Maramures Sighet/Nagyvarad (Oradea), Shenderivka, London, Rivne, Bialystok, Krasnik, Lapichi, Libashei, Dokshytsky
@JewishGenomics@josh_avraham I see there’s an Ashkenazi tester from Belarus in this lineage as well. Even connects with a downstream lineage with 2 other Moroccan Jews at 1150 CE. Likely meeting point/explanation here?
@Heavenly_Race_ This might be true on an average level, but on an individual basis? C’mon. It’s normal for an individual to vary by up to 15-20 points across different IQ tests at different times in their lives. Plenty of overlap between 105-125, for example.
@jmcgrathgolf@JoshACarpenter Agree with this, but you aren’t taking into account that the PIF spent excessively beyond just paying players. They flew players to every tournament, put them up at the Ritz Carlton every tournament, had huge names perform concerts at every tournament, etc. There is room to cut.
@AmYisrael1111@Trainboy100 The more questionable move was putting in Federman, a 27 year old single a 4.84 era pitcher who’s been injured for 2 years, in the 6th inning of a 5-2 game to face the top of Venezuela’s lineup. No Kremer makes sense, but once you’re in the game in the 6th, you go for it.
