My phone has this great feature that reminds you when it’s time to wind-down so you can get to bed on time, and I’ve developed a great nightly ritual of dismissing it without giving it a second though.
It’s as effective as my first alarm in the morning, which is to say, not.
@theoceanblooms I could quite easily imagine myself doing this just so I would remember the date because I would recognise what I was doing in the picture, even.
I think therapists should all be a lot harder on people and tell them things like “you need to grow up” and “your own actions are making your life worse”
