Guards at Israel’s notorious Sde Teiman torture camp have admitted their colleagues use dogs to rape Palestinian captives there, according to a prominent Israeli analyst.

Shaiel Ben-Ephraim, a geopolitical expert who opposes Israel’s genocide in Gaza, said he spoke to two guards from the facility about the gruesome form of torture “on more than one occasion”.

“Some have said that claims that Israel uses dogs to sexually abuse prisoners are antisemitic blood libels,” Ben-Ephraim wrote on X on Friday. “Unfortunately, there is a good deal of evidence.”

Of the two guards he spoke to, “one had seen this happen and said it was too awful to talk about. The other said that he had heard about it from others and believed it was true. This happened. This is happening still. The evidence is too overwhelming.”

He highlighted several cases reported by human rights groups and media outlets.

They include a man who spoke to the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR). “We were stripped completely. Soldiers brought dogs that climbed on us and urinated on me,” he said. “Then one of the dogs raped me… I suffered a severe psychological breakdown and deep humiliation.”

“They know once they rape someone with a dog or with a stick that these people won’t be able to carry out their jobs or live their lives normally,” Basel Alsourani, international advocacy officer at PCHR, told Novara Media last year. “It’s part of their genocidal intention to destroy [Palestinians].”

Sde Teiman gained global notoriety last year after footage was leaked of soldiers gang-raping a captive there in 2024.

This eye-witness testimony, on camera, is more evidence than we have related to 10/7 sexual violence. And there is far more evidence than this: medical reports, testimony from doctors and nurses, forensic evidence, and victim testimony also exists.

That is the kind of evidence people have been asking for when it comes to 10/7. Instead, we get empty assertions and accusations of "rape denial" from the same people who will not say one word about the systemic sexual violence doled out to Palestinians in Israeli detention. Including by dogs.

- كأننا أمام "صوت العقل الوحيد" ... عزة نفس تحّدي شموخ مدروس أمام الكاميرا .- بينما يُحاط بمجموعة ضيوف متوترين، مُتلعثمين ..متقاطعين، متعجلين في الرد....

هنا لا يكون النقاش عفويا… بل مُصمَّما ليُنتج نتيجة نفسية محددة:
- واحد هادئ = يبدو عقلانيا
- مجموعة منفعلة = تبدو ضعيفة الحجة ...

ثم تُضاف طبقة أخرى أكثر دقة:
ضيفة فلسطينية الأصل تُقدَّم بصفة "خبيرة دولية"، تختار التحدث بالإنجليزية رغم إتقانها العربية، ليُعاد إنتاجها بصريا كـ”صوت خارجي محايد”، بينما هي في الحقيقة جزء من بناء المشهد نفسه....

هذه ليست تفاصيل عابرة يا من تُقدسون قناة الجزيرة حدّ أنكم سترفضون مجرد التفكير فيما أقول… ولديكم من أدوات ردعي ما يكفي لإخراس عشرة كاتبات ولكن ممن لا يُشبهنني 😂😁 ....

أعود إلى تقنيات السرد التي تُستخدم لصناعة “بطل إعلامي” في كل حرب.
كما صُنع من قبل كثيرون - ولن أذكر أسماءهم - وفي سياقات مختلفة،

يُعاد اليوم إنتاج نموذج جديد:
وجه هادئ، خطاب منضبط، إحساس بالمظلومية ("دعوني أكمل… لا تقاطعوني…")
ليتحول - بلا وعي من المشاهد- إلى شخصية يتعاطف معها الجمهور العربي.

المشكلة ليست في استضافة إيراني أو غيره،
بل في أن الإطار الكامل للحوار يُبنى ليقود المتلقي إلى تعاطف محدد مسبقا.

في علم الإعلام، هذه ليست مصادفة…
بل ما يُعرف بـ: "إدارة الإدراك عبر التباين السلوكي داخل المشهد" ..

والنتيجة؟
لا يتم تسويق موقف سياسي بقدر ما يتم إعادة تشكيل مشاعر الجمهور تجاهه.

وهنا تتحول المنصة من ناقل للأحداث… إلى صانعٍ خفيٍّ لاتجاهاتها.

Much of the audience in the West that is well intentioned but lacking in nuanced context on the Middle East find it confusing why Arab countries like the GCC, Jordan, Syria, and the legal governments of Yemen and Lebanon do not support the IRGC and their militias.

They think that since Israel has behaved in such an evil and depraved manner towards the Palestinians, wouldn’t it be intuitive for the Arabs to support the Iranians and the Houthis who are self proclaimed enemies of Israel?

The truth that the indigenous populations of the region know is that Iran has spent decades instigating foreign coups on countries in the region in order to destabilize them, and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people to maintain control.

Just yesterday, a young boy returning from school with his sister was sniped in the head by the Houthi militias. Sniped.

This is not an uncommon scene, just as Israelis sniping Palestinian children in the isn’t.

From our perspective the children in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq are moral equals to the children of Palestine. Murdering a Syrian child in cold blood is just as criminal as murdering a Palestinian child. All children are innocents, and all child killers are criminals.

So we don’t fall for the slogans of the child-murdering government who claims to champion the Palestinian cause, and just a couple years ago was purchasing weapons from Israel.

This is a “moral” position of opportunity, that only emerged once American-Israeli support for Iran was cut off and they needed a Plan B.

This is why indigenous voices matter in geopolitical analysis.

@clashreport Targeting journos is wrong because they are obervers reporting the news. I recall these two "journalists" going out of their way to humiliate victims of Hezbollah and The Assad regime in Syria. That is not consistent with journalistic practice.
