Very excited to see builders build 🛠️
I'm tired man.
So fucking tired.
My soul is tired.
I,ve lost motivation, I wake up everyday to fight the same battle in my head.
It’s exhausting.
Hugs to anyone else going through this dark patch.
Been too busy for @blaze_stream & @avax infotainment with my new job CHAnge. Admittedly the rejection from Build Games & Retro made me depressed and want to give up. Part of the ethos of @MobilizingGood was to create a shared purpose to lift people up & its still a WIP 💚
Who can name a GOOD outcome to come from InfraBuild? CARE Quest is designed to make program impact visible. Maybe Build Games will be different but every time @avax makes a big announcement or incentive program it hardly drives meaningful adoption and fizzles out
@1ManOfIntegrity@0xSmitty Something something "business", @0xSmitty maybe if youre burnt out from all the immaculate meta writing you can have some guest writers/contributors? Will accept payment in illiquid jpegs 🫡

@VirtualQuery Tbh I don't want it to be about this
I understand not getting funding through build games, Avalore doesn't really fit in, it's not a business trying to make profit
The point is more that on the whole, they seem to be funding a certain type of product that we don't use
@avaxbingo@avax Congrats on earning about 6666 @Costco hot dog combos! 🌭🌭🌭🌭
Shoutout to Costco for granting GCN more money than Avax did, allowing to return a 15' broken @bodyglove paddleboard from 2020 for full price (about 425 hot dogs).
This was not on our bingo card!
Let US be honest: building in WEB3 is hard 🤯
Congrats to GOOD builders who succeeded in @avax 🔺️Build Games
🥇 @MeridianProto
🥈 @Forg3tProtocol
🥉 @TheGrottoL1
*dozens more received grants
Lets continue our quest to grow interoperable networks to support more people 💚
Builders life journal.
Let me be honest: building in web3 is hard.
Balancing utility, tech, and not ending up as a ponzi?
Constant struggle.
Been here for 4 years.
Not an easy ride.
Probably a terrible business decision too.
We had a solid web2 business.
We shifted to web3.
Burned liquidity.
Took risks.
Chased ideas that failed.
Still chasing new ones that might too.
Dumb move?
I ask myself that a lot.
Why Avalanche?
How do we actually grow on-chain?
⸻
What I’ve learned on @avax:
The community is everything.
You know the faces.
Real people behind screens.
No filters.
Some are mfers.
Actually… most are.
But they’re real.
Builders, farmers, hustlers.
From everywhere.
⸻
Then there’s Avalabs & the Foundation.
Not perfect. Never will be.
But I’ve worked with big corps.
I run small companies myself.
Evolving without breaking everything is hard.
Avalanche did evolve.
Programs failed. Others worked.
Now:
Retro9000.
Build Games.
I’ve been inside.
Better structure.
Real teamwork.
Actual review.
They care more than people think.
⸻
I’m grateful.
Still here.
Still building.
Still part of it.
Even when it’s hard.
Even when it hurts.
Even when nothing works.
⸻
We’re bringing Skullz back.
We’ll find the sweet spot.
More time.
More tests.
More failures.
We’re not quitting.
We’re dead already anyway.
⸻
When we started: no AI.
Everything was slow.
Expensive.
Painful.
We learned the hard way.
Spent millions.
Had insane teams.
Huge sacrifices.
⸻
Now?
AI changed everything.
You can do more with less.
Way less.
⸻
Today, builders are empowered.
This used to take millions.
Now it takes hundreds.
MVPs used to require capital.
Now they just require action.
There are no more excuses.
⸻
Don’t take that for granted.
I paid the price for it.
Now you don’t have to.
So build.
And support people who do.
⸻
Special mention to @avery_bartlett.
Not just for the work.
For the energy.
200% involved.
Proof that fresh blood changes the game.
Respect as well to
@Andyvargtz@cryptochimba@memosthetic
and many others who helped us survive.
⸻
@SkullzHQ was never about hype.
It’s about surviving.
Adapting.
Building through cycles.
If you’re still here, you know.
We’re not going anywhere.
We’re dead already.
