JUST IN: $ADA's Ouroboros Leios has "completed the Earth phase of MusashiNet, the public testnet taking Cardano's Leios prototype to production-grade code. The phase produced over 127,000 blocks and nearly 8,000 on-chain certificates."
We’ve been quiet for a while. Our team has been working on something big: a potential answer to DeFi’s AI security problem and a path to restore revenue to SOV stakers.
Is Cardano The Biggest Winner In The Recent Crypto Surge?
@Cardano has woken up in the past couple of days, coinciding with the recent bullish momentum in the crypto market.
Of course, the $ADA price has surged. However, onchain activity also saw a very big boost.
Per ChainSpect, Cardano's onchain transactions almost doubled in just 48 hours as the blockchain broke another daily transaction record.
The blockchain protocol handled over 32,000 transactions today, after a 48% volume increase yesterday and a further 33% rise today.
‼️@Cardano is set to shock the entire market.
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson (@IOHK_Charles) recently dropped a massive reality check on what it will actually take to onboard the next billion people into Web3:
"If we want to bring $10 trillion in and billions of people in, we need a new narrative for cryptocurrencies. We need the narrative that it's with you in life wherever you take it, and it makes life simpler, safer, more private, and easier for everybody."
This profound shift in perspective is exactly why we proudly support Cardano.
When it comes to building a platform truly capable of safely onboarding millions of new everyday users, Cardano is in a league of its own. It wasn't built for short-term hype; it was engineered from day one with peer-reviewed security, flawless uptime, and true decentralization to handle real-world demands.
From digital identity to private, secure micro-transactions, Cardano is designing the exact infrastructure needed to make Web3 invisible, intuitive, and incredibly safe for the average person.
We firmly believe in this vision and the strength of the cardano:native ecosystem. Despite the daily noise of the market, the underlying technology has never been stronger. The foundation is rock-solid, the community is unmatched, and we are confident that the future for Cardano is absolutely brilliant. The real adoption phase is just getting started, and Cardano is perfectly positioned to lead the way.
Crypto does not need another slightly better version of what already exists.
At @SALTConference Wyoming, @IOHK_Charles argued for a different direction: infrastructure for a world where people begin their day by speaking to an agent.

🛡 The Wallet Migration Tool is Now Live.
The wallet migration tool is available in the SecondFi app.
This tool is for users who still hold Cardano assets in SecondFi. It moves what you currently hold out to your newly created Cardano wallet destination address. We encourage everyone with a remaining Cardano balance to migrate, whether or not you were affected by the incident, because SecondFi is winding down.
If your wallet was emptied in the incident, the tool you are waiting for is the asset recovery tool, and we expect it to be available in September. Migrating does not affect your claim.
About the migration tool:
- It moves your entire Cardano balance (including all ADA, native tokens, and NFTs) from your current wallet to the destination address of a newly created Cardano wallet from a provider of your choice. The tool has been audited by @Bitdefender.
Before you start:
- Create a new Cardano wallet with a provider of your choice and have the destination address ready. We recommend using a hardware wallet.
How it works:
- The tool handles the technical steps automatically.
- If your ADA is currently staked, the tool will unstake it so the full amount can be included in the transfer.
- This also means your DRep delegation will no longer be active, so you will need to delegate to a DRep again from your new wallet to continue participating in Cardano governance.
- You will need to migrate one wallet at a time.
Important reminders:
- Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed once signed and submitted.
- Check your destination address carefully. Only send to a Cardano wallet you control, never to an exchange deposit address.
- The migration tool moves Cardano assets only. Non-Cardano assets will need to be moved separately.
- Please do not delete your original wallet from SecondFi or the application itself, as it may be needed for the asset recovery process.
The video below walks through the full process.

Interesting how this gets framed as though the industry is suddenly discovering the value of UTXO-style architecture.
Bitcoin pioneered UTXO.
Cardano then spent years extending that model into eUTXO so smart contracts, deterministic execution, parallelism, and stronger predictability could coexist on a programmable L1.
Now Ethereum is exploring UTXO-style ideas as part of its scaling strategy.
That’s fine. Good ideas should spread.
But let’s give credit where it’s due.
Cardano didn’t just talk about this architecture.
It built it, deployed it, and has been running smart contracts on it for years.
Let the copiers begin. 😉
INSIGHT: @VitalikButerin credits Bitcoin developers for pioneering the scaling ideas now shaping Ethereum's future architecture, backing a hybrid UTXO and account-based model.
