Entomology Graduate Student Aaron Bell is researching the beetles that inhabit recently burned areas. These 'pyrophilic' species seem to benefit from the sterilized egg-laying substrate the fire creates.

Scientists @uofg & CLS used our BMIT #beamline to study #chocolate. These are spinning cubes of ๐ซ obtained with #synchrotron microCT data! You can see a 3D distribution of #sugar crystals and #cocoa solids (yellow & red) within the sample with the matrix/ cocoa butter (green).๐
