@bill_slawski You tweeted that link 5h ago which is why my initial thought was it is important and relevant. But it appears that nowadays we should always check the information we consume, even if it goes from very authoritative sources. :)
@JohnMu Apologies for off-topic question. Many people report their indexed pages data didnโt update since 7/14/18 in new GSC. Can you poke devs so they update the indexing data? Thanks!
@Marie_Haynes@NathanJohns@JohnMu He was so kind to explain me the difference personally. Robots.txt noindex - you still have titles in serps. Meta robots noindex - no results in serps.
@glenngabe@Marie_Haynes I will present tomorrow in Kyiv about Google Updates and I used your Twitter and blog to prepare (with @Marie_Haynes site too), of course with appropriate credits. Sad that I wasnโt able to see your smx presentation.
@IMJacobKing Would it be good outreach angle if you receive a product for free with a request for a testimonial and a permission to publish it on a product website?
@badams I found out that Google tools are worthless when I tried to measure the number of indexed pages on a website. GSC and site: operator returned different results, showed no new pages indexed and they both were wrong because we had search traffic increase to newly indexed pages.
@RossHudgens In our country, HRs have to be that creative to hire a developer. In fact, getting the right person just to attend the interview is a win.
