@JUNE5016@Smithyjoe16 Choose to queue for everything - getting in, placing a bet, buying a greasy burger, getting a plastic pint, collecting winnings, having a pee, getting out. No thanks !
@isaguha Wouldn’t take much for the bowlers end umpire to signal ‘one short’ if a run enshewed. Or in higher profile matches when technology is used for the third umpire to intervene as they do now with front foot no balls
@Christov79@huwzat It is ‘out’ as the ball is the object not the boundary. Most interesting is the decision being made that the fielder ‘didn’t make contact with ground with the ball in his hand(s)’ That’s the biggest shout on this one
@arnie_booth@Hindu_Stan@RealCounties@GilesMacDonogh I have a book titled “Northamptonshire and The Soke of Peterborough” Historically and geographically Peterborough is within Northamptonshire, but for some time (well before the 1970s) administered itself. A more recent example of this is the Isle of Wight, being in Hampshire
@ChronandEcho Previously we had ‘home visits’ from GPS, now we can’t see them at their place. My surgery in Northampton suggest using an outsourced telephone/video GP consultation service (Livi) - tried today - next available slot . . . >48 hours. WHAT A JOKE
